In the old village of Levanto you may visit the castle, the "loggia", remains of the medieval port, the ancient walls, the clock tower and many churches with rich art treasures.   A fast train connects Levanto with the Cinque Terre, you may also reach by boat. A boat service connects to POrtovenere, Portofino and Genoa Acquarium, the largest marine park in Europe. Foot paths climb up through olive trees, pine woods and vineyards, and through the typical mediterranean bush. You will enjoy wonderful panoramas walking along the hiking trails of the Cinque Terre National Park.
